Junior Programme Associate at the Centre for Public Impact

The Centre for Public Impact (‘CPI’) is a not-for-profit foundation, funded by The Boston Consulting Group. We are dedicated to improving the positive impact of governments around the world.

You will work as part of CPI’s Programme Team on our research projects and product development and delivery related to government effectiveness. These include:

• Our products designed to help government drive effectiveness in policymaking
• The Public Impact Observatory, the world's largest repository of structured public policy case studies
• Research on the role of AI and Legitimacy in government
• Research on the Future of Government

You will join a small team of former BCG strategy consultants and experienced professionals from other fields in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Activities may include:

• organizing and facilitating workshops with civil servants to help them make their policies have more public impact
• supporting members of the programme team in the preparation of client engagements
• researching, drafting and producing reports and other products
• managing and organising stakeholder outreach

Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Relevant degrees may include, but are not limited to, political science, public administration, sociology, law, business, design, journalism and computer science. An advanced degree (e.g. MA or MPA) is desirable but not required.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract for a full-time position (40 hours per week) at CPI’s offices in central London. You will be paid £26'400 p.a. Note that you should ensure that you meet the necessary legal requirements and are eligible for work in the UK. CPI is unable to act as a sponsor or provide visa support.

The precise start date is negotiable. Relevant dates include:

• We expect the successful applicant to start the position as soon as possible
• The closing date for applying to this position is 08 April 2018
• First-round interviews will be conducted in the two weeks after the closing date (interviews can be conducted via video, you do not need to be in London).
