Job Description

You have completed your degree in Civil Engineering.

Now - what does becoming a Site Engineer really mean to you...?

If you love to work outdoors - want to be part of an exceptional project team who are driven by solving complex, site-based construction challenges - and want to be developed by some of the best engineering experts in the country, our Graduate Engineer Programme is where you want to be.

Whether you are looking to work towards your Chartership, or seeking to broaden your engineering skills through other routes - our talented site teams will mentor, coach, guide and develop you every day, to ensure your career propels you right to the top of your field.

Our Site Engineers achieve success through one thing - teamwork. To be an exceptional site engineer, as well as having a flair for technical complexity and detail, you must possess a core motivation to engage with, communicate, innovate and inspire the teams around you.

#What you'll find on our Graduate Training Programme: At Carey Group, we operate an all-inclusive 3-year Graduate Development Programme designed to bring out the best in our Graduates by combining practical experience, technical learning and the ongoing development of soft skills. We support a full combination of site, design and business experience to give our Graduates far-reaching insight and broad experience of our industry. All Graduates at Careys are assigned a personal mentor who will support and guide you throughout your development journey, as well as a series of coaches to help track your progress against specific learning objectives.

There are some unique benefits of working for Careys:

  • Full support and guidance toward your achieving Chartership status

  • 'FlexiCare' flexible benefits scheme, where you can buy and sell holidays, access taste-cards, childcare vouchers and much more.

  • A dedicated People Development team that will keep you abreast of ongoing training & learning opportunities

  • Through our partnership with social enterprise Benefacto, you will get a paid day every year to volunteer in a meaningful initiative and 'put a little back'

  • Opportunities to be involved in ongoing team charity fundraising initiatives through the Careys Foundation

We cultivate innovation - encourage ideas - nurture a sense of belonging - challenge the status quo.

We do things differently.
